Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo 2013 in London

Korea Branding and Entertainment Expo, coinciding with President Park’s UK Visit, was very much business-focused, with fashion, visual arts and musical entertainments. 

Bringing 2NE1 over to the UK to do a three-song set at mid-day was an extravagance which all the visitors seemed to enjoy – and K-pop fans registering to attend had managed to crash KOTRA’s website several times over in order to secure their places. Even more entertaining was hologram performance from another act from the YG Entertainment stable, PSY.

The holographic PSY and fellow performers were as large and as colourful as life.

Aside from k-pop hologram frenzy, this Expo was primarily a place for business opportunities and with over 40 companies attending looking to introduce themselves to the UK market.

With South Korea on the technological forefront, there were also a wide range of companies from the I.T/Mobile market as well as the Mobile Gaming industry along with many technology companies from Health and Fitness backgrounds.

And of course it wouldn’t be Korea without a dash of Kpop with attendance from one of Korea’s largest Entertainment companies YG as well as many Fashion and Beauty companies such as Kun’s who have many Idol fans especially VIXX’s Ravi!

And last but not least, the Design and Lifestyle category offering new upgraded ondol systems to traditional Korean materials getting a modern twist.

This expo gave attendees a taste of the many fabulous and modern sides of South Korea.

KBEE Expo 2013 was held at Old billingsgate,London for 3 days , from 4th November to 6th November,2013.
