Former lead singer of K-pop group found dead

Kim Ji Hoon, the former lead singer of a now-defunct k-pop group “Two Two’’ and “Duke’, was found dead at a hotel room in Seoul on December 12.


Kim Ji Hoon’s agency GF Entertainment stated that his body has been transferred to Samsung Seoul Hospital this afternoon.
The agency also added that he has been suffering from depression for more than a year and he was struggling financially for his debt.
Although the exact cause of his death hasn't been confirmed, it’s believed that Kim Ji Hoon had committed suicide by hanging himself inside a hotel room that he checked in one week ago.
Police investigation is takeing place regarding his death.


Kim Ji Hoon made his debut in 1994 as a member of group Two Two and later formed another group Duke with rapper,Kim Suk Min in 2000.
He was also on the spotlight in 2008 for getting divorced with his wife, and then in 2009 he was apprehended from appearing on TV because of drug charges.
Kim was first arrested on the same charges in 2005 but did not receive a jail sentence.
Later drug charge have put the career of Kim at risk.
