Kim Yu-na donates US$100,000 for children affected by Typhoon Haiyan.



Olympic champion Yuna Kim donated USD 100,000 to UNICEF Korea for Philippine typhoon victims
UNICEF officials said "“Through the Korean Committee for UNICEF, Kim has made donations to help underprivileged and sick children at the end of each year, and this year, she informed us that she wanted to help children affected by the typhoon in the Philippines,"



South Korea has made a pledge to send $5 million in aid, along with a team of 40 rescue and medical workers to provide relief efforts in the Philippine city hit hardest by Typhoon Haiyan.

Meanwhile Some 23 Koreans are reported missing in the Philippine city hit by Typhoon Haiyan, one of the largest storms ever recorded, as relief very slowly starts trickling into the area.
